The Player Handbook, which outlines the team’s rules, regulations, and code of conduct, must be reviewed and signed by all athletes and parents . This ensures everyone is on the same page and committed to upholding our team standards.
All athletes and parents are required to review and sign our Team Uniform Agreement before they receive their uniform. This ensures everyone understands the expectations for care, return, and responsibility.

My name is Manuel Savalza. I grew up in Riverside California and graduated from our very own Poly High School in 2017. Throughout my volleyball journey I played club volleyball for 3 years at surrounding clubs from 15-18 years old. As a poly alumni I played on the very first poly boys volleyball team. In those years I competed on varsity all 3 years, earning 1st team All-Citrus Belt League MVP each year. I decided that I wasn’t quite done with my volleyball career post high school, and went on to play in Boston, Massachusetts for Elms College. In my 4 years at Elms I contributed to 2 league championships, and 2 NCAA appearances ranked in the top 5 for Division III NCAA. I started my Career as a Correctional Officer at the Hampden County Sheriffs Department in the women's facility. I also coached 2 years at Pioneer Volleyball Club in Boston as a 17-1 coach finishing in the top 25 teams in NERVA. Now back in California, I currently work for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, attend graduate school at Northcentral University, and contribute to the coaching staff at Bravo Volleyball Club and the girls team here and Riverside Poly.
My name is Dimas Acosta. I grew up here in Corona/Riverside California. My volleyball journey started with playing volleyball in 6th grade and I fell in love with it so much that I joined a little league in junior high finishing with league MVP. I played club volleyball for 3 years at Bravo from 15-18 years old. I attended a private school here in Riverside and in those years I competed on varsity all 4 years, earning MVP the last two years. Along with Inland Coast League MVP and Multi-Sport Senior Scholar Athlete MVP. As my high school volleyball season came to an end, I am deciding if I want to continue to pursue my volleyball career and play for my university I attend. As of right now I am taking a short break to do what I love… coach! I am going on my second season as head coach at Colony High School coaching the JV girls volleyball team. In addition, I work at Bravo Volleyball Club coaching a 15’s girls team! I’m very excited to continue to coach with our Poly family, and make some history!
